Rapid Build and Mission Launch

Inaugural Mission : NeoShare

Inaugural Mission : NeoShare

There are 17,800 identified Near Earth Objects. Only 8 have been investigated. 300 have potentially dangerous implications for earth.
Some of these NEOs could have unique science and origins, what can we learn or prevent with closer inspection?

Our Mission Objectives
in sending probes and missions to these NEOs is to Increase the number of up-close investigations and to Determine the origins and evolution of these NEOs, terrestrial planets and our solar system. We also seek to better inform Planetary Defense from our study of these NEO’s.

The Plan
To launch a cluster of CubeSAT and SmallSAT Encounter Vehicles (EVs) and place into orbit or maneuver to 1-15 NEOs for up-close observation.

Data Collection:

  1. Improved Geologic Understanding of NEO (color, shape, density…)
  2. Key Object Characterization Analysis (NASDSPS)
  3. NEO Composition and Planet Evolution (mineralogy, structure..)
  4. Similarities and Connections of NEOs and Existing found Meteorites
